Mark Levin said just the other night - actually on numerous occasions - that the Congress can’t amend the Bill of Rights with a simple statute. It’s illegal and requires a Constitutional Convention.

The mere fact that they need to list so many guns that are “acceptable” or "not acceptable” is reason enough to show how ridiculous it is. It could also put you at odds with the law if you modify a weapon so that it no longer conforms to whatever whim they happen to believe is scary or dangerous.

Not only does it violate the 2nd amendment, it's arbitrary regulation of lawfully manufactured products that we have the right to own for self-protection.
