As long as your pistola is not concealed you can carry it just like you might a long gun ~ no permit needed. Some people don’t understand but the cops around here do. There’s not a day goes buy I don’t see a holster on a civilian.

I've been thinking of a full flap field holster for carrying my Glock 26. Because the weapon isn't visible, it is much less intimidating and potentially scary.

THere’s a group in Loudoun County that does Open Carry Dinners at various restaurants in the area.
Virginia as a whole is a gold star state for Open carry.
