They were informed. Insufficiently. Not by their employers, not by their clergy, certainly not by their favorite TV shows. (But then, their favorite TV shows have been Dancing with the American Idle and Monday Night World Series.)

He was a very humble man of Asian heritage and also head of surgery at a large American hospital. He was a true healer.
They don’t seem to make them like that anymore.
