President Obama warned North Korea on Thursday that his administration will take "all necessary steps" to defend the United States from aggression and urged Pyongyang to tone down its threats.
"Now is the time for North Korea to end the kind of belligerent approach that they've been taking, and to try to lower temperatures," he said in the Oval Office, after a meeting with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. "Nobody wants to see a conflict on the Korean Peninsula."
North Korea, he said, must "observe the basic rules and norms" set by the international community, including the UN. "We will continue to try to resolve some of those issues diplomatically, even as I indicated to the Secretary General, that the United States will take all necessary steps to protect its people and to meet our obligations under our alliances in the region.
Ban said he is "deeply concerned" by Kim Jong-un's latest threats, which are "not helpful."

This whole NK thing had me thinking last night. Something doesn’t smell right with Dennis Rodman’s visit. What if it was a set up? We offer NK something in exchange for little kim stirring up some trouble so obama-kerry-hagel could ride in on their white horses to save the day.
