I bet the NFL will lose a lot of money if a gay player comes out of the closet. I'm already disgusted with the league but I would disown it if it celebrated a homosexual player. What's next, celebrating crackheads?

I expect a lot of booing from fans.

Christian Laettner has a wife and two daughters, and he played 13 seasons in the NBA. You must be thinking of someone else.

The NHL is in fact the first of the four big U.S. professional sports leagues to decide to form the partnership with You Can Play, whose goals (among many) are to help players become more sensitive to those around them, and be aware of the casual homophobia that may plague locker rooms today. "Casual homophobia?" ROFL.
Has anyone in the NHL's management ever listened to what opposing players say to each other on the ice during the heat of competition? LOL.

It is a team sport so golf and tennis are out.
It is the NY Times so best guess is the Yankees or Knicks. No one cares that much if it is the Mets, Giants, Jets or hockey.
Likely prospects are Mariano Rivera, Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Carmelo Anthony.
Just my gut feel says not Melo and not Derek.
I am going for Alex Rodriguez. The clown went out with Madonna for god sakes.
Anyone else want to place your bets ?

Yeah, I remember there being rumors about Laettner and Grant Hill, but I think they were just started by UNC fans.

No way. I hate the Yankees, but Arod isn’t gay. He’s had more women than Tiger Woods. Same with Jeter. It will be someone obscure., not a star.
