When Jane Fonda was cast as former First Lady Nancy Reagan in Lee Daniels forthcoming film The Butler, some Reagan fans were not pleased. Now, with the biographical due to hit theaters in October, a movement to boycott the movie is gaining some momentum.
Larry Reyes, a Navy veteran and founder of the Boycott Hanoi Jane Playing Nancy Reagan Facebook page has been particularly vocal about the casting decision, given Fondas past frolicking with the enemy during the Vietnam War.
Growing up in a military family I heard my father and uncles talk about what Jane did, so from an early age I knew about her history with the war and how upset veterans were about it. Yet it amazed me that people just turned their backs and kept supporting her exercise videos and movies.

I wonder, would it be considered a hate crime to piss on this b**ch’s grave. I guess I will have a go at it anyway.
How many people ARE DEAD thanks to your idiocy, Jane?
How much nuclear power was lost due to your stupid “China Syndrome” movie
And don’t even get me started on fat-girls in spandex due to your exercize videos!
Nah; it would just overflow with us paying our first (not last) disrespects.
I pray she goes before me and she isn’t cremated. I’ll be front and center at her grave. They’ll have to post a constant guard like they do at Jim Morrison’s grave. Of course people aren’t lining up to piss on Jim. They’ll end up putting astro turf over Hanoi Jane if they want anything that looks like grass.
Imho, the plot of this piece of garbage is directed at older liberals who can’t bear to give up the reliable rabble-rousing spectre of racism. It may only draw a limited audience, but the “actors” involved will receive heaps of attention for being a part of a “serious film”, and some may even be nominated for academy awards. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Fonda win one for this role, which is why I stopped watching the Academy Awards shows so many years ago. It’s all a farce.
No doubt. :)
Her head stone will be a urinal, unless they bury her in secret.I have never been to california but I do intend to visit there and stand in line to pee on her grave.
Problem with me boycotting this movie is that I already boycot all of Hanoi Janes Movies . I haven’t seen a movie with her in it in years.
eat pooh and die bitch.
The pizzing on her grave interests me, but I’m not standing in long lines anymore at my age!/S
Maybe they just don’t want to see crappy movies.
So *this* is the reason for her recent phony non-apology.
“I made this one unforgivable mistake that I will carry with me to my grave.” (close enough) - Jane Fonda regarding her photo on the VC gun turret.
This was not one mistake Jane.
- You lived for many years as a communist sympathizer. You tormented patriotic American soldiers in a time of war. You rallied and supported people that spit on our troops.
One mistake...NOT!
A urinal would be too sanitary. I want her to understand the full force of my disdain......
They would be better off making the sequel to “The Golden Pond”, “Old Bitch, The Next Generation” ;-)
You’re absolutely correct....
At the start of the Iraqi War Fonda purchased a bio-diesel bus and was going to relive the 60’s by touring the US holding anti Bush/Military/war rallies. After the first couple of stops and after tiring of whipping tobacco juice off of her face deposited there by old VN Vets, she decided that such a campaign wasn’t in her best interest......go figure.....she’s smarter than she looks.......
(Once, in the early 80’s I was in Santa Monica’s shopping mall with a girlfriend. After we left the mall she said that Jane Fonda had stood behind us in one store’s checkout line. My gal was afraid to draw my attention to that fact.....fearing I’d wind up in jail.....)
They’re gonna have to put a sewage treatment plant under her grave.
I was going to say the cemetery better put in A BIG Axx Drain. But you got here first.
We have a life...it is a life without Hanoi Jane Fonda!
it is a hoax about her seeing troops, that didnt happen
however, it is clear she gave aid and comfort to the enemy just by going there, let alone posing in that cannon and making radio broadcasts

“it is a hoax about her seeing troops, that didnt happen” - RB
True, but her presence with the VC did torment our troops, both POWs and fighting.
