And the misspelling of anti-depressant ???
“the state now admits error...”
The only “error” that the state admitted to in their press formal letter is that they came for the wrong guy—NOT that they shouldn’t be confiscating weapons based on a medical provider’s assessment or some sort of database entry.
My hunch is that the NY State Police merely put into motion the provisions of the law TOO EARLY! The story was receiving some attention, and the Senate’s current bill also included language related to mental state and HIPPA non-appliccability. The gun confiscation in NY State was simply shining the light on the true intentions of the Senate legislation, and they had to pull back into the “shadows” until all legislation is in place. Then—look out.
Docu-demented Democrats are now claiming to be experts in mental hygiene?
Mental Hygiene Law. How scary is that?!
No...the State just found out that thousands of their beloved, union, police force is on the same medications and don’t want to stir the pot. Don’t worry, they’ll find an exemption (or make one) to appease the union police.
Whoever made this “error” needs to have their head examined. Perhaps some mental pills are in order.
Error? BS aplenty!
Letter mailed to the correct name.
Letter mailed to the correct address.
Man just so happens to be on the medications the state claims.
Man just so happens to have guns.
Yup, sounds like a mistake to me.
A NYS trooper would be very comfortable and right at home working for the STAZI. They are packed to the rafters with bullies, diversity defects, and women with a estrogen deficiency.
They are testing the waters this was no mistake.
Everyday, government at every level is testing how far they can go without the citizens fighting back and it seems there is nothing they can do which will prompt a push back.
