To: Former Fetus

I detect a kind of desperation and even a lack of faith among Creationists. They seem to believe if you don’t interpret Genesis literally then the whole fabric of Christianity will unravel.

I’m not personally invested one way or the other. I just think the question is way out on the periphery of Faith matters. Creationists seem to believe it’s the core.

I wouldn't call it "desperation", it's more like AWE! And it certainly it is not lack of faith, I believed before I got interested in creationism vs. evolution.

Creationism is not the core of my belief, but the Bible certainly is at the core, so I find it exciting that "when scientists get it right" they come to the same conclusions that can be found in the Bible. And, isn't that "proof" that the Bible is God-inspired?
