I believe you have at least one part of your comment(s) wrong and that is about Jews escaping the Russian Czars. In the last several years I have been searching/reviewing the history of my father who died a few months before I was born. It turns out he came to the USA after being wounded in Russia by the fledgling communist agitators. He was a so called ‘white’ Russian which included many Jewish people. These people were not in a revolution against the Czar. In fact my Jewish Russian father was fighting against the revolutionary communist forces overthrowing the Czar.
