Yes, on an individual basis. Here, they grabbed the entire list and turned it over to the Feds. Why?

SSA? Read OBAMACARE into that one.

I bet this was some kind of agreement between some IG office in SSA and the Missouri HP. See we got these cop wannabees in all these government agencies now. They trade info. More than likely the state revenue agency told them to take a hike so they end ran them through the highway patrol. My guess is this info did not end up with SSA either, it was probably passed onto ATF or DOJ for some nefarious matching program.

Another in a long list of arguments for why we need far less than more record keeping, especially at the federal level. The Feds have no legal legitimate reason for acquiring this info.

Silly question, yldstrk! Because the really important people in Washington, D.C. asked for it!

Missouri State Senator Kurt Schaefer: “Apparently from what I understand, they wanted to match up anyone who had a mental diagnosis or disability with also having a concealed carry license,” Schaefer said. “What I am told is there is no written request for that information.” http://www.redstate.com/dloesch/2013/04/10/missouri-secretly-shares-entire-ccw-list-with-feds-against-state-law/
