One word for this - persecution.

 

Centuries ago members of various Christian denominations embarked on dangerous and deadly journeys across a broad and at times tempestuous ocean to an alien land they knew little about much less having necessary skill sets to survive in, all for the opportunity to practice what they believed in peace, not just for themselves at the time but for their progeny to come as well.

 

It seems that we as a nation have betrayed their efforts and sacrifices. We are about to live through why they fled their native lands in the first place.

Yes, and they’ve labeled us terrorists before the first shot fired( or vote??) and now they can all scream,
“ Seee? We told you so, Get the UAV’s! it’s time to put them bigoted Christian flat earthers in place, six feet under.”
Sadly, tragically our country has betrayed us. Our leaders we voted in have chosen to render their oaths null and void and they HAVE chosen war.
I have no idea where this will end but it doesn’t look good right now for “we the people,” but it didn’t look good in 2009 either and the TEA party flattened them round earthers!
