Dear FReepers,
We need your support to keep FR going strong.
Please keep those cards and letters coming in. Your loyal support makes Free Republic possible. And your continuing participation makes FR the number one reader funded, independent, pro-life, pro-family, pro-small government, pro-defense grassroots conservative forum on the Net!!
And we're going to need FR now more than ever to combat the current crop of Marxists and progressives who have infested our government and institutions and who are dead set on destroying our constitution and our liberty!!

Yep, but it’s seared on the outside!
My Hubby would like it. :-)
It seems that whatever is heading our way will be wearing itself out before it reaches us. We’re expecting rain, but nothing like the winds that will be impacting your areas.
SO delicious! I like my steak rare. Red inside, but not purple. Still, I’d rather have it purple than overcooked.
I love thunderstorms, but when the wind is high I fear that our tall trees will come down on the gardens, the fence or the house. Not to mention losing power for hours or days. Since we moved here in 2002, the trees surrounding our house have grown, and we haven’t had any removed in at least five years.
Right, prefer deep red, not purple, but will accept purple, instead of over-cooked!
DJ’s husband agrees with us.

We’re in the majority. We win. :)
Ditto. I love the t-storms, but hate and fear the wind because of power outages. Now the rain is here, but no thunder or lightning! Amazing. I think this might be a small downpour that’s quickly moved across the River from Louisiana.

We have open ground around us. The milk house has lightning rods and it does strike them. Makes your hair stand up when it happens.
I like my steak very well done.
Burn it. LOL!
LOL. Yep, we win.
You WASTE GOOD steak!
That’s criminal!
They pump too many drugs and crap into beef for me to trust eating it rare.
It’s good to have a soaking rain, as long as it doesn’t result in flooding. We had a nice rain last night, heavy but brief. Fortunately, I had mostly closed the windows in our bedroom before it started, so none of it came in and got everything wet.
Yay Red! LOL
We have clay so it always floods. lol
