Our society is so sick that no crime or indiscretion committed by a politician causes his career to be ended.

Allowing for some potential for personal rehabilitation, I consider the vile Anthony Weiner and how soon after his resignation this is and marvel at his gall.

I do not believe NYC could not elected him. Saying they'd receive "everything they richly deserve" is naive.
