I am sure she appreciated the art of Thomas Gainsborough and Joshua Reynolds, for example, who actually painted recognizable subjects, as opposed to most modern art, which seems to be little more than paint passed through a fan and aimed at a canvas, or grotesquerie ... I don’t like it either, does that make me a savage? RIP Lady Thatcher!
