...What troubles me is why Rice and Rutgers deserve more attention from the media than doctor Kermit Gosnell, who is on trial for eight counts of murder related to his abortion clinic in Philadelphia. Gosnell apparently made a fortune running a slaughterhouse. It went unnoticed for decades. How many clinics are being run like Gosnells in this country? Isnt it worth a look into by the media and politicians? How much of this story have you seen on the evening news? I bet not nearly as much as you have seen about Rice.
It is also disturbing that the media and our elected officials think the Rice story is more important than what went down at Columbia University, where former Weather Underground radical Kathy Boudinwho spent 22 years in prison for an armored-car robbery that killed two cops and a Brinks guardhas been hired as an adjunct professor at the School of Social Work. "And it is, if we do."
We all know this happens and will continue to happen. Until rich conservatives start building up alternative media — buying newspapers and local TV stations and controlling the content — it will continue to happen. Asking the current liberal media to be fair is pointless — they aren’t going to do it.
In the media’s mind, Rice was an evil white guy, while the other two were doing the lord’s work.
The media is controlled by politically correct agitated wimps.
I saw numbers on an earlier thread that pointed out that ABCNBCCBSMSNBC etc all had ZERO mentions of Gosnell while the Rutgers B-ball scandal got dozens. They obviously got their marching orders.
Actually, it even worse than that. The MSM is controlled by the Communist Party machine.
Years ago, I was doing some research on the biggest baby abortionist in Dallas, Texas.
He was an OBGYN who ran an abortion business at the same time.
The moms keeping their babies would go in one door and the moms aborting their babies would go in another door.
This guy had cleverly listed his abortion practice as a church, and we presumed that it was so that he could kill all the babies he wanted - tax free.
His practice was so gruesome that even the biggest lib-feminiod-abortionist refused to refer her cases of big babies to him because it turned her stomach.
He drove a brown Rolls Royce and would fill up the trunk with black heavy-bottomed plastic bags every Saturday.
I don't know what happened to him because he moved twice and then seemed to disappear.
