RE: The fact to so many Christian theologians loved him worries me.
I think they pick and choose his beliefs SELECTIVELY and did use certain Platonic terms, , but not necessarily with Platonic meaning.
However, I don’t know of a good Biblical Theologian who actually agrees with Plato’s “The Philosopher Class is Superior” thought.
There have been a few through the years. I can think of a couple right now.
It is very seductive to a man of knowledge. Many a person has died because a “philosopher” thought he knew best.
