WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama says former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher was both a great champion of freedom and an example to women everywhere.
In a statement issued Monday by the White House, Obama said Britain's first woman prime minister showed "our daughters that there is no glass ceiling that can't be shattered."

It took his speechwriters a bit of time to come up w a weak statement. GW Bush, Bibi and others released statements long before Obummer and to me they were very heartfelt (wouldn’t be surprised if each one of them wrote their staements themselves).
Just heard on FNC that Greta is going to have a Special on the Iron Lady on her show tonight.
BTW - FNC has played or read her statement a few times this morning wrt (paraphrasing) The only problem with socialism is that sooner or later you run out of other people’s money. I recall that phrase and I can’t help but think it made Obummer and his handlers and the Dims cringe.

First we have to recognize that His Maximum Eminence did not write this rather bland notice. One of his political fools wrote it for him, may have run it by him and put it out. The thrust of the comment was to underline his political agenda, nothing more. I truly wish this guy and his entire administration would vaporize.

And Margaret Thatcher didn't need government-funded spaying, morning-after pills or regularly-scheduled abortions in order to have a successful political career and rise to the top levels of leadership.
She just had to be hard-working, smart, robustly conservative and twice as capable as any socialist man.
Fortunately, that's not too hard!
