The Clinton’s hate anyone who has a dime more than they have, the crooks.

I know this building very well and have checked it out. Even though the neighborhood is prime, I think it is a ripoff at $10 mil.

My main issue is that the non-penthouse apartments only have 6 windows. All those windows are spit between the living and bedroom. While the living room is absolutely spectacular with full views of the park, the bedroom faces an “alley”. It also means none of the other bedrooms have a single window. I remember thinking “hell, even prison cells have windows”.

When I first read this, I honestly thought she was getting the penthouse for 10. Good for the developer that scammed these idiots...

Those evil little eyes and that 1950 Buick grille of teeth.

I’d rather stand on train tracks at midnight & watch a three eyed locomotive bear down on me at 120 MPH than look at that again, but

This is one of the prettiest and trendiest neighborhoods in Manhattan - it’s called Chelsea. I lived to the east of Madison Square for several years - an absolutely lovely little park.

Interesting! But I imagine Chels and her on-again-off-again hubbie will be jetsetting around the world with an occasional stop over in the Big Apple. So it’ll be a just little pied-a-terre.

"stolen property that her mother took from the White House"

I think that the GSA got a lot of it back but my no means all.

The Clintons in my opinion are white trash and prove it every day.

To think that she is going to run for Pres. in 2016 makes my blood run cold.

Nothing about where the money came from.

I had the same question. That's a pretty nice chunk of change. Mom and dad cashed in big time but I'd imagine $10 million is a pretty heft slice of their net worth, and much more than they could transfer to Chelsea. Maybe there's a family trust involved, and the trust is buying the condo. That would explain why Bill & Hill were along on the tour.

It's also interesting to note that Chelsea has now retired from real gainful employment and is a nepotism hire for dad's foundation. I wonder what that gig pays.

Normally, I'd say "none of my business" when someone buys a high-end pad. But, in this case, I have to wonder where the money came from. Is Mark rich? Did Chelsea's career yield this kind of loot? Did Mom/Pop buy it for her, in which case they've gotten filthy rich (not just well off) from public office, speaking, and lobbying, which shouldn't happen.

I can't help myself, I'd like to know the source of Chelsea's wealth.

Chelsea will doubtless denounce those evil rich fatcats when Mommy runs for President in 2016. Anybody who brings up her cushy digs will be stamped as “mean-spirited”.

My four bedroom house is 2500 feet. Now with just my wife and me, there are rooms that go unused for weeks.

What the hell do they need 5000 sq ft for?

Maybe that is bought from the $1 trillion missing that her mother has been hiding overseas.

‘LOL. Good one. She made lots of money from being a hedge fund-er herself. Companies go broke; she banks much.’

will the MSM bring that little nugget up that they threw at Romney like a poison dart, when Chelsea runs to succeed her mother as President in 2024 ? don’t hold your breath.

Thank you for that personal knowledge.

For me, there is no way that I could live in or even near a big city. I love being on my mountain out in the country. If I were to spend $10m on a place to live, I would buy a Ranch on a thousand acres and a cabin on an beach at the ocean. I would buy a Prevost bus with a trailer to tow my fast sports car, red.

During the early 40’s, my grandparents (mom’s parents), moved from upstate NY to the Oregon coast when they were a young couple. My grandmother missed NY and would talk about it at the drop of a hat. She loved it all. I might have been interested in the countryside, but the big city life has never appealed to me.... I’d rather drive for 15 minutes, launch my boat and go fishing. ;>)

If I had 10.5 million, I’d by a nice house in the country with lots of land and live on the interest from the remaining 10 million.

What the hell do they need 5000 sq ft for?

Because they can.

My 4-br house is 2,400 sqft, for two adults, nine children, and I've lost count of the pets. We wouldn't need this much area if it were laid out more efficiently.
