Having seen several parts of East and Southern Africa...including South Africa but not Zimbabwe...I’m very,very pessimistic about that region’s future.Of course I’m no expert but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand,after being exposed to the area,that things aren’t going well and are likely to get worse rather than better.

Africa is a cesspool of failed cultures. If the white man had never come, they would be even worse off than they are now. If culture reflects biology and neuroscience, then Africa will never reach the high road, unless a new hegemon (China?) moves in and replaces the essential role the colonial powers played.
