I, too, had intended to repeat and respond to the quote from the article concerning "our customers have made it clear... that they demand diversity," but I see that other posters had already beaten me to that morsel of deceitful fabrication. I think that we, here, can all agree that these alleged "customers" probably did not mention "diversity" as a criterion before even "fast, courteous service" or "technical competency," etc. Rather, I'm sure that the questionnaire used to poll the customers (Where? In Afghanistan? Norway? Laos?) probably only offered choices varying slightly from the theme of "would prefer being served by company representatives of an ethnic / religious background similar to my own."

Of course, the topper is that, if 45% of the white male managers gave their company a positive rating, that means that a MAJORITY (the remaining 55%) of the white male respondents gave their company a negative rating (or at least an "n/a"). So, actually, the article should be titled

"White Male Managers Decry Lack of Diversity!"

Just sickening.
