U.S. delays missile test to avoid stoking N.Korea tensions

By Phil Stewart

WASHINGTON | Sun Apr 7, 2013 8:08am IST

(Reuters) - The United States has decided to delay a long-planned missile test scheduled for next week out of California "to avoid any misperception or miscalculation," given tensions with North Korea, a senior U.S. defense official said on Saturday.

Sorry Tiger, but a whole lotta people could get killed, most of them your countrymen, if the Norks decide to make a demonstration. I sympathize with your view, but I really don’t want to see the SHTF in your country.

God bless, and keep you safe.

Fat Boy loves to spout threats. He has already done plenty. I don't think ICBM test launch will change anything at this point. There are already enough military hardware deployed near NK. That should worry more than ICBM test far way. It could be used as additional rationale for their upcoming missile test launch, though.

It does not help to react too sensitively. It is basically rewarding their behavior.

B1s, B2s and E-6s deployed to Guam and South Korea, but a missile test targeted nowhere near North Korea is an issue? Who arrived at this notion, Hagel or Kerry?

Hagle has no original thought.

It was probably Jon f’n (Nothing bad happened after we left Viet Nam) Kerry.

I knew the Obama Administration would be the first to blink in this game of "chicken".

And they just DID.

Well, maybe not.... Let’s now see if Kim fires something....
I don’t think Kim and his crew will see this as “enough”.... I think he’ll carry on just the same.
