Wow! 90M people are not in the labor force! I think that the labor force is actually just under 80M and the welfare recipients rate is approximately 50M.

I have a feeling that over the past several years businesses that can have been evaluating their organizations critical functions that must be filled with full time employees and converting the remainder to part-time and temps. During peak seasons they just ramp up to meet the immediate need. When the need passes these people are put back out on the street. Most of this being in response to Obiecare.
Thanks to Obie the new normal in unemployment will be 7 to 8 percent for the foreseeable future. Businesses are going to do what businesses are designed to do. Make money for owners and stockholders. They don't exist for the purpose of giving people jobs. Something that libs just don't understand (or don't want to).
