So ... this is all our fault? We mouthed off and caused North Korea to threaten us with nuclear weapons? If we could just chill out and stop being so American, the world would be a more peaceful place? Is that it?

I participated in the annual Spring/Summer military exercises in Korea. It was a very scary, but enlightening affair.

What we have to realize is that there is incredible EVIL going on in North Korea - and no one cares.

I say that with full guilt upon myself, because I didn't care either until I knew the truth. There are concentration camps in North Korea that dwarf those during WW II in scope, cruelty, numbers, and carnage.

The American people don't really care about this, and neither does the world community. I can tell you, however. that God cares. Immensely. If we go to war, I believe it is because God is acting.

I also believe, however, that the curses our nation is currently suffering under are of God - He is judging us for our sins.

What I don’t understand is what North Korea expects would be the American response to a use of nuclear missiles against the United States (or even against U.S. bases in other countries)? Has anyone ever bothered to ask the clown who runs that country?

North Korea might indeed have to power to do serious harm to the U.S., but not anything comparable to what the U.S. could do to it. I assume our response to a nuclear attack on the U.S. would be to destroy North Korea, to wipe it out, and put an end to its existence as a country. (Who knows, though, maybe Obama would merely file a complaint with the United Nations. ;-)

Have we reduced our store of nuclear weapons so far that we can’t do a large-scale nuclear attack on North Korea and still have enough remaining to be a deterrent to other possible enemies? The threat of massive retaliation prevented nuclear war for over half a century, does that deterrent no longer exist?
