North Korea has begun moving its mid-range missile launchers, possibly indicating a looming test as tensions are already boiling on the peninsula, U.S. officials told Fox News.
Earlier Thursday, South Korea said North Korea moved a missile with "considerable range" to its east coast after an unnamed spokesman for the North Korean army warned the U.S. Wednesday that its military has been cleared to wage an attack using "smaller, lighter and diversified nuclear" weapons.
South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-jin dismissed reports in the Japanese and South Korean media that the missile could be a KN-08, which is believed to be a long-range missile that if operable could hit the United States.
Kim told lawmakers at a hearing that the missile's range is considerable but not far enough to hit the U.S. mainland. He said he did not know the reasons behind the missile movement, saying it "could be for testing or drills."

Who knows. The only thing I am sure of is that several people from that area all reported lots of activity at the same time.
True.
The Norks are looking for candy money from the US again. We will give it to them. Thanks Obammy!
I guess relying on the Media is safe bet. .....sarcs.....
Ha...just sent Lady Gaga complete with meat dress...(for the starving children....)
Yup, those ol'boys are in the neighborhood.
Maybe somebody is getting set to launch something at us from Venezuela or Cuba ~ and if they did all the Hispanics get to go back home and even the Democrats in the Senate will be dragging Obama lackeys out into the streets of DC to tar and feather them.
Obama has to take out Venezuela and Cuba this evening or its all over for him and his cronies.
Nuke’Em All, Let God Sort’em out!
I don't agree. I think they would try a limited attack to "demonstrate their power" and/or "demonstrate the weakness of the west" (ie. us). I think they believe we won't do anything significant - like fire a nuke back or invade. You know what, I think they're right. The {expletive} in the WH doesn't have the stones to retaliate with a nuke. He doesn't have the guts to commit the forces it would take to make a serious run at the NKs. He'd couch it in terms of not risking war, risking millions of South Korean lives... But he'll wuss out, and NK will grow bolder.
So yeah, I think Guam, Japan, etc. (anything within range of their proven medium range missiles) are very much at risk.
I want to know when Obama is going to apologize to KIM. After all Obama has apologized to most world leaders for our actions.
Florida skies seem very busy
Oh, no problem. The article says the movements are only for a “test.” [Little irony there.]
Seems Mr. Nobel peace prize has a knack for stirring the pot.
Nah.
Obama wants a nuke weapon launched April 15: First, so he can ban all US nuclear weapons and condemn OUR use of nuclear weapons in Japan in WWII by blaming US for the North Korean attack; and second, so it will take attention off of the April 15 tax increases that would otherwise be in the news that day.
Seriously? I don't think he actually believes they would launch a weapon, and he really doesn't care if they did lauch a weapon.
After all, if there is a war, he gets to spend more money.
If there is a nuclear attack on US soil, he gets to spend more money, and be declared (by his news media) as responding the "strength" and "courage" of being a heroic wartime president .... Remember, all those attributes Bush actually displayed but was cursed by Obama's media for doing after 9/11?
Further, if they (the communists in North Korea) did launch, well, they are communists and so WE (south Korea) are to be blamed because "we" (capitalists) are the "real" cause of the North Korea economic failures and hatred and aggressive policies and its starvation.
Allah?
Having been in the business, I disagree.
An agent watching the base is great intel, whether that agent is working for you, or just spouting off on the Internet.
Of course they have agents watching the base, on the base, high over head, under it ~ they can tell you everything that goes on.
Really? The Norks have agents everywhere and you are using that as justification for just putting the information out on the Internet?
Open source intel, which would include the Internet, is the largest source of collection against the United States. Probably because of the commonality of your opinions.
For numerous reasons satellites are not the all seeing eye that you suppose them to be. Nor do the Norks have any satellites of their own. Although the Russians and Chinese may share intel with the Norks, I guarantee you that they do it selectively.
Beyond newscasts and the Internet, the Norks independent intel collection against the United States is about nil.
Everybody has agents everywhere. Can you give me one single reason why North Korea should be the only nation on earth to fail to engage in espionage?
I’m more worried about an EMP attack from the Norks, or Iran or any of those bad boys who seem to be in business together.
One nuke would destroy a fixed area. Bad enough.
Properly placed EMP could kill 90% of CONUS population without any radioactive no go zones at all.
Which, interestingly enough, is the depopulation target set by Agenda 21.
