U.S. would seek regime change in North Korea if attack occurs

The U.S. would oust the communist regime in North Korea if it uses its nuclear weapons or launches an all-out invasion on South Korea and the 28,500 American troops stationed there, national security sources say.
The Obama administration has not articulated such a far-reaching retaliation, even as North Korean leader Kim Jong-un threatens to attack both the South Korean and the U.S. mainland.
But national security sources say it is a common assumption within the Pentagon and U.S. Pacific Command that a full-force attack by Pyongyang would put in place a contingency plan of massive retaliation against the North aimed at bringing down the Stalinist regime. President Obama then would be faced with making the war decision.

Regime change?
Wipe them out. Period.
Enough of this horse crap of "regime change". Lets get on a footing of "mess with us and your great, great, great grand children might have feared us too, had you survived."

I am not kidding. Kaesŏng Industrial Park pay rate is 1/3 of China at about 170.00 a month. It made S.Korea a powerhouse in a short time. Yes, China would love to shut it down.

BO won’t have any say in who takes over...not a bit...China and Korea will call that shot, and China more than likely will keep things as they are if they have the say in this.....they aren’t about ready to hand over their buffer zone without some pretty heavty pay offs.

Therefore, it would be imperative for the US to launch a massive nuclear attack to eliminate North Korea in retaliation. China and Russia will grumble about radioactive dust, but they don't have major cities near NK. However the fallout will make South Korea entirely uninhabitable. Kim knows that, of course:
The prevailing winds are southeasterly in summer, and northwesterly in winter.

Kaesong Industrial Park did not make S Korea a powerhouse, it wasn’t even established until 2002.
The operating profit in 2011 was about $56,000 according to Wiki

What I meant was the low labor rate on top of excellent engineering made S Korea powerhouse. S Korea engineering skills are next to NONE through out the world. Considering the ratio of America to S Korea population one would believe they all are genius in S Korea.
To be considered powerhouse one does not need to be biggest only the fastest growing and S Korea has that.

There are always rank and file liberals/leftists that think they’ll fair well under a leftist dictator. Then they end up in a prison camp or dead or running for their lives...just ask Leon Trotsky.
Kim Jung-un is using this heightened tension to test the crop the loyalty of generals and apparatchiks. A lot of these officials will be going to a golag or will be executed...not entirely an unfitting end for them.
This isn’t a war, this is how leftist dictatorships operate efficiently.
