Howdy everyone!!
Woo hoo!! Our 2nd quarter FReepathon is well underway!!
Free Republic is funded solely by donations contributed by the people who love and use it. We are beholden to no outsiders, no sugar daddies, no corporate or government string pullers. It's just you and me, baby, grassroots conservatives against the Marxists and big government statists and RINOs!!
Please keep those donations coming in to keep FR alive and on the air. We're going to need FR now more than ever. Make it a monthly if you can. We have some very generous FReeper sponsors kicking in an extra $10 for each new monthly that signs up. This gives you an opportunity to get a little more bang for your buck!!
Click the link above to donate via secure server or mail checks to: Free Republic - PO Box 9771 - Fresno, CA 93794.
Thank you all very much and God Bless!!
Prayers up for our one free nation under God!!

The House moved to its current location on the south side of the Capitol in 1857. It contained the "largest Protestant Sabbath audience" in the United States when the First Congregational Church of Washington held services there from 1865 to 1868. Nearly 2000 assembled every Sabbath for services.

I don’t think it’s a fan, but I’m clueless about this kind of thing.

My fans get coated in cat fur and dust. I learned that noises quitting aren’t necessarily a good thing. Hubby installed a temp program so I could check on fans. lol

I’m sure that this noise isn’t a good sign. I think we need to bring it in, but not now.

Christianizing the Delawares

In this resolution, Congress makes public lands available to a group for religious purposes. Responding to a plea from Bishop John Ettwein (1721-1802), Congress voted that 10,000 acres on the Muskingum River in the present state of Ohio "be set apart and the property thereof be vested in the Moravian Brethren . . . or a society of the said Brethren for civilizing the Indians and promoting Christianity." The Delaware Indians were the intended beneficiaries of this Congressional resolution.
