I would suggest that the GOP Senators have someone creative write them some effective talking points to use on Senate floor.

“ They wont work” is a bit weak since they have specific examples of those who were denied.

Try :” .... was killed when she couldnt get a gun to defend her from a woman abusing rapist ex-BF because the background check stopped her. She was approved for a gun AFTER she was killed too late. We cant let this happen to Americans daughters and mothers”
