Not to scare people worse, but I sat in Senate hearings on the Taepodong program and our BMD capabilities in 1995. I sat there and heard a sitting Senator dismiss the whole strike on the US scenario saying it would never happen and strategic BMD was a colossal waste of money. Someone responded that we didn’t know what the world would like like in a decade. Now we are 18 years later. And exactly the scenario of a limited NORK strike threat is upon us. I’m just happy we gave BMDO what we did to develop and deploy what we have now by shoving it down Clinton’s throat - which could be far greater had it not been totally sabotaged by this WH the last 4 plus years and repeatedly undermined from within during the Clinton era.
