The electoral award has to be done on a per district bases so in state fly over country is non-existant. Federal candidates should not be able to visit just one or two major cities and ignore the rest of a state. Essentiall a politician running for pres would have to win the majority of the districts and not just a raw popular vote of those city zombies.
The Michigan Secretary of state says she supports a proportional (By district) electoral distribution. Delegates at the state convention voted to support it some 1700 to 300.
I wish we could do the same with senators.
