I wonder how much fraud would be eliminated if people were responsible to pay their own bills, rather than having a third party pay for them?

(In other words, Medical Savings Accounts versus insurance)

People have spent an awful lot of time exploring the weak nature of Medicare. Even if you repair in some nature....they will just come back for more easy money.

Unfortunately, that's not an option right now.

I would like to see an accurate number on the reversal rate. The hospitals say 70% and the RCA's say 2.4%. Sheesh, how can anything be resolved when the entities involved can't even agree on how to count reversals.

About 100% ~ simply because folks handling all the payments side would have no idea if the charges were legitimate.
