AN ex-lover of child-killing monster Mick Philpott yesterday revealed he tried to murder her in a frenzied knife attack but spent just three years and two months in prison.
Kim Hill, 51, told of her ordeal as jobless benefits scrounger Philpott, wife Mairead, 32, and friend Paul Mosley were found guilty of killing six of his sleeping children in an arson blaze in Derby.

Yes, along with the British “justice” system.
so what is the punishment for murdering 6 kids?
15 years max?
Beautiful system. You’re not allowed to defend yourself, and the criminals don’t get punished.
Some people need to die
Yup!
This is like a sign of the apocalypse.
What a piece o work this A hole is :-(
Some people don’t need to die. I don’t have the list. Maybe you have the list. Do you? Have the list. Post it, I dare you, to do so. Are you number one, or just a bs’n bs’r?
People who commit arson to blame an innocent person and thereby destroy them and profit, do need to die.
Throw in the 6 dead children, and they need to die slowly.
Okay.
That beast needs to be burnt at the stake.
The correlary of your statement is that if some don't, then some definitely do.
Post it, I dare you,
here's a list for you Every patriot has a list of people who won't be missed; publishing it defeats the purpose
Applause for your list!
just because you can accept depravity doesn’t mean the others do, what is your problem
I just lifted it from the Mikado. I’m normally not a big fan of Gilbert and Sullivan, but every now and then they have a good one.
“mercy to criminals is cruelty to their victims.” Not sure who said it first.
Not as evil as the system in Ecuador was and to a large extent, still is.
A convicted child rapist and murderer confessed to over 200 victims and served 14 years for the crimes. He led police to 57 graves and just couldn’t remember where he had buried all the rest.
Ecuador’s law sat the maximum sentence at 14 years and does not allow consecutive sentences. Over 200 little girls 8-12 years old and he got and served 14 years. His victims were slum dwellers and mostly the police ignored missing children reports among them. He screwed up and got caught when he chose a victim who had influential parents.
Ecuador’s maximum sentence has since been changed to 25 years, still no consecutive sentences allowed, kill as many as you want for the same low price of 25 years.
There is no ‘British’ justice system.
Like the US, manslaughter carries less of a sentence than murder. However, there is in the UK no maximum sentence for manslaughter, the judge could set a life sentence if he/she wishes. One defendant a few years ago got 25 yrs for manslaughter. Here’s hoping the judge takes into account the evil of six murdered kids, and gives them life, or a 20/25/30 yr sentence.
I will update this thread when they are sentenced.
