Bill O’Reilly tonight responded to criticisms from the right over his commentary last week that gay marriage opponents need to do more than just “thump the Bible” if they want to win the argument. After a Talking Points Memo largely focused on mocking liberal media attempts to gin up a feud between himself and Rush Limbaugh, O’Reilly brought on Laura Ingraham, who actually told O’Reilly he was wrong in saying what he said. O’Reilly was stunned with Ingraham, shouting over her and telling her “I’m disappointed in you.”

Ingraham first surprised O’Reilly by agreeing that there actually is a feud of sorts going on between him and people like Limbaugh, given Limbaugh’s harsh condemnation of O’Reilly’s commentary. O’Reilly dismissed the idea he and Limbaugh are enemies, saying “I don’t care what he says, he can say whatever he wants.”
Ingraham agreed with O’Reilly that gay marriage opponents are not always good at making their case, but said O’Reilly unnecessarily insulted them. O’Reilly insisted he made an “honest point” about gay marriage, and shocked Ingraham by saying that opponents cannot cite the Bible in a policy argument. Ingraham told O’Reilly he was being disrespectful, which led O’Reilly to tell Ingraham he’s “disappointed” in her.
O’Reilly scolded her for criticizing her for his “accurate description,” saying he doesn’t really care whether it was unhelpful or if anyone took offense, it was an “accurate and honest attack.”

On one of the shows dealing with illegal immigration, Michelle Malkin was insulted by Geraldo and refused to come back on O’Reilly because he didn’t stand up for her.
BOR is so misinformed. He doesn't know crap about energy markets. And expects his regulars to kiss his ring. That act is growing very tiring with people like Laura, as one can see her roll her eyes when she has to listen to BOR try and make everything about him.
Rush has so nailed BOR as a windbag. Levin I think believes the same.

No, government can’t, but some “so-called religions” already are! For starters, check out the Unitarians and some of the Episcopalians. Or Father Prager in Chi town.
I watched this this evening. All the time I was getting more than ever disgusted with BOR. My wife wasn’t pleased that I said that BOR’s true character and principles were being shown. He is a conversation hogging twisted narcissist who can only make his argument by finger pointing. My FOX viewing days /hours have been severely cut after seeing that others opinions mean so little. My wife suggested he might come out and apologize for being so crude but as far as I”m concerned BOR and FOX can shove any apology where it fits them personally.

Probably so, but he didn’t need to attack Laura in that fashion. Anything that’s carried to an extreme isn’t good. And that’s true in religious expression as well. We talk about the Loony Left, but there’s a Loony Right too. The people who thought Akin and Mourdock were right on message are in the same class as those who were called out by O’Gasbag. The problem is that the “adults” on the Right are not going to vote for these people, unlike the more mainstream Leftists who WILL vote for a Marxist. And the Loony Rightists are willing to “stay home” to make a point that isn’t germane or isn’t worth making because their “understanding of the scriptures” “tells” them that it is. Jim Jones was good at getting these types to kill themselves.

And by standing in and taking O’Gasbag’s fire tonight she allowed him to completely embarrass himself on national TV. Sometimes that kind of silence is very effective. Based on what’s been said here tonight, she came out the winner and back in his dressing room. BOR knew it too.
I still laugh when I think about BORe’s phone sex. He’s been a joke for years. Sad, but true.
BoR is not a good Catholic and should be banned from receiving communion in the Catholic Church.

Yes. Laura makes quite a show of defending marriage, yet she’s a spinster who decided to adopt some foreign children and raise them in a single parent home.
Now we get to hear about their exploits instead of her dog’s. Oh joy.

Slight difference. That is what O'Reilly sells*. His brand. He is a modern democrat operative whose assignment is to keep old-fashioned Catholic Democrats (visit Bayonne, NJ) in the fold. He draws no lines. He is a "Joe Biden Pelosi Catholic" at best. IOW, "I am personally against abortion, but it is not my business to make my views those of others."
If only these Catholic Democrat stooges like Chrissie and BOR actually knew how despised they are by the Left, because they are Catholics and "working clas!" They sold out years ago for crumbs from the liberal table.
