While the Supreme Court heard arguments regarding the legalization of gay marriage this week, some of the biggest companies in the world risked isolating its conservative consumer base to come out in loud support of marriage equality.
Brands from Bud Light to Martha Stewart Living riffed on the Human Rights Campaign red equal sign that has gone viral on Facebook.
Although the image of Paula Deen riding the symbol with the caption "It's like two sticks of butter, y'all" that has been going around is clearly a parody, many other companies have created legitimate social media campaigns to show their unabashed support for the cause.
1) Bud Light re-created the red equal sign a symbol of people's support of marriage equality that has taken over Facebook newsfeeds with two cans of Bud.
The company has received a lot of Facebook hate, but it doesn't care.
2) Martha Stewart Living decided to spread the message with cake.
3) Expedia changed its cover photo to the popular image linked to marriage equality advocacy.
Here's the Expedia ad about how a father overcame his prejudices to travel to his daughter's lesbian wedding last fall.
"I told her, this is not the dream I had for my daughter," Artie Goldstein said. But the journey to the wedding and experiences with his new daughter-in-law opened his mind and heart.

Buy generic versions like Walmart’s “Great Value”.
Virtually none of those people you mentioned are very conservative.

Thanks for the link....the truth hurts!
Good we already do not contribute to any of these already. They have been off our shopping lists for years.
San Francisco has experienced an OUTFLOW of tutti-frutties, a visible outflow of them. The once 100% homosexual Castro District has heterosexuals now. Well, I SEE young men with young women pushing baby carriage with a real baby in it. I THINK they are hetero.
The heteros can afford it because so many apartment and houses are on the market because the tuttie-frutties have moved north and south for bigger and better homes/properties.
The GAY PRIDE PARADE (as it is SICKENLY called) brings tham all back in for the weekend. Truly sad. Homosexuality is a CHOICE.
What sad sack would CHOOSE that?
RE: For smart phone, music, TV and computer I strictly use Apple products.
Apple is gay friendly too. They got a perfect score for gay friendliness as far back as 2006:

Their CEO Tim Cook advocates for gay marriage. Not surprising, he is known in some circles as the most powerful gay man in America.
see here:

Just curious, what kind of computer do you use? If it’s either Apple or Microsoft based, you ARE patronizing gay friendly companies.
RE: Dennis Prager, Hugh Hewitt, OReilly, Rick Warren, always talk ad nauseum about their gay friends as if it gives more credibility to their stances.
They do it to show that they are NOT homophobes even as they oppose gay marriage.
Other than the tech companies, I have no association with any of these, and am looking for alternatives to the techs.
BOYCOTT the equal sign...
There is no homosexual marriage. Marriage is between a man and a woman. There is a desire to create something like marriage for homosexuals. I call it faggage or buggerage.
If you were truly principled in this, you would quit your job and work somewhere that doesn’t have any MS products...
That was easy...I don’t do business with anyone on that list with the exception of Microsoft, which was part of the package when I purchased my computer. I do not use IE, for what it’s worth.
This will make you cringe too:

Yeah, I guess sitting in the Vette you were probably at just the “wrong” level. I don’t really care what they do in private just keep it private. I don’t want anyone seeing what I do and I sure as hell don’t want to see what you/they do. I believe it’s called common decency. Something they know nothing about. So, another question. When will being a homophobe become racist? I mean if hispanics consider themselves a “race” (based I guess on language? Didn’t they come from Spain originally?) then I guess anything that “makes” you different could be grounds for declaring a “new” race? Bizzaro world. Are you a racist if you don’t like the French?
Math is hard enough as it is.....
Your Freudian slip is showing...
I think it is correct to say we are living out the judgement of Romans 1, where we are given over to our own minds. That should send fear and trembling into the heart of anyone that believes God.
There are no MS machines in my house.
My co-workers can't tell I'm not using MS.
