First of all, the election was stolen. The Stupid-Ass Party folded and didn't do a thing about it.

We also had on our ticket the DEMOCRATIC PARTY'S pick . . . all of our potential nominees were viciously attacked until only Romney was left standing . . . again, the Stupid-Ass Party folded and didn't do a thing about it.

So, we let the democrats pick our candidates, and then we let the election be stolen across the country. That's why counties like Cook in northeastern Ohio had 148% turnout and Cuyahoga County had 108% turnout . . . and again, the Stupid-Ass Party folded and didn't do a thing about it.

And until the Stupid-Ass Party DOES SOMETHING ABOUT IT, we're doomed as a party.

The Romney campaign never even attempted to tap into the 2010 momentum of the Tea Party or Sarah Palin. Big mistake.

It won’t matter in 2016. If the Republican candidate is not a base conservative, yet another attempt to out-left the left will be doomed to its usual failure.

The social conservatives I know detested Romney. And judging by the talk I’m reading here, the number of socons who will accept another liberal Republican nominee is getting smaller by the day.

I have never thought much of the huckster, but he is spot-on about this. Those who sat it out, whatever their reasons, are as guilty as the no-brains, low-information democrat voters. Thanks for ensuring that the worst choice would be reelected you nitwits.

So let me get this straight. The low information voters voted for extremist DemocRATS who are to the left of Lenin and Stalin because the Republican candidate wasn't "moderate" enough? Somebody has been doing way too many recreational drugs.

"Give us moderation or give us DemocRAT fascism!" - Low information voter battle cry. That makes sense.

For what it's worth, I am a Christian Conservative. I showed up to vote on 2012 and voted for the most God-fearing patriotic small government conservative candidates I could find on the ballot. That did not include Mitt Romney. If it weren't for Palin, I wouldn't have voted for McCain either in 2008. I'm tired of squishy "compassionate" republicans. I have no problem with "gay marriage" being used as a litmus test. In the bigger picture, if a candidate has the cahones to stand up for God in the face of "big gay media", I can probably trust that candidate to do what's right to defend America and our Founders' vision of it. Sounds like a pretty good litmus test to me. It would clearly define the candidates with spine, courage, conviction, a respect for tradition, and a healthy fear of our Maker.

I dare say it has less to do with a candidate’s stance on the issues, than his perception as a leader....and Romney simply didn’t have the looks of a good leader in peoples’ eyes.

Do you think everyone who voted for Reagan twice agreed with him on everything? I suspect a relatively small number agreed with Supply-Side economics. But what they saw in Reagan was a leader.

What if there actually are parts of the country where a moderate, and fiscally conservative Republican can get elected but a hard-core conservative, particularly a conservative on social issues, simply can't?

Huckabee who gave Obama a pass for almost everything he did until the 2012 election? Huckabee who sat across from Michelle as she lied and said gvmt would spend no money on her fight against fat children? Huckabee liked that Michelle was fighting/forcing better eating habits.

Huckabee is a nice guy but he was suckered by both the Obama’s. His reluctance to call out Obama was no different than the cesspool media.

The selling of our souls.

Dear God,

You know I really want to do what is right, but we have to win this election no matter the cost. I don't think you understand how evil Obama is; some people even fear him more than they do You. I know you want us to do what is right and trust you, but we are suppose to have separation of church from state in this country and not let our faith in you interfere with our vote. We should not look at a persons value, beliefs, or what they have done in the past to see what they might do in the future. We need to stop thinking about social issues like innocent babies being killed and our children being taught sexual perversion, our freedom of religion.....because we can't win elections thinking like that. Times are changing and if we don't change people won't like us. They will call us names like they did you. Even people on the right will do this. If people like us they will be more open to vote for our side. Then we can reach them because we have more in common.

We have these really smart people like Rove other political advisers telling us what we have to do to win. The advisers have calculated that if we move left, some of the precious independents, and maybe some of the obama voters will vote for our guy. I know we will have to accept certain behaviors that we now find repulsive, and consider people we don't believe or trust, but they are better than the left. If we keep moving left, we might not even notice what is happening to us. I won't change my belief in you. I promise. I just need to compromise this one time and then everything will be ok.

I just had this great idea. Maybe we could move left before the other side does and get those professors votes. What did they want to do? I'll have to email Karl Rove. This idea might even save our country! .

Thank you God for being on our side not matter what we do!

I was unable to support a candidate with a career long record of supporting abortion, despite his more recent words to the contrary, not to mention a career long record of flaming liberalism and stunningly bad judge nominations, not to mention a cult leader as well.

By no means did I sit out, I simply voted my convictions.

I'm proud to say the first vote I ever cast as a young man was for Ronald Reagan. I've voted exclusively Republican my entire voting career up to thisl ast election, but no longer. The party left me. Screw em.

As long as the conservatives don’t see a dime’s worth of difference between the two candidates (and you can scream their differences all you like, but you have to get them to see that *on the issues that they care about*!), they have no incentive to get out there and vote.
