What’s a “3D printed firearms”?
You take data created in a software package such as Solidworks, Pro-Engineer, or NX and then make a 3D "print" of the data. It is great technology to evaluate prototypes early on in the design process. Defense Distributed is using this technology to distribute guns. They have successfully fired 600 rounds through a 3D printed AR-15.

I missed most of the show, but you really need to check out some of the technology. I’d suggest searching for it on Bing and on The Blaze. Search 3D printers in general and you will see some amazing technology.
