Hamid Zayid?

Sounds like a case of SJS... (Sudden Jihad Syndrome)

And carried out in a CUTLASS instead of a CAMEL

Maybe not ~ for the last 40 years the Olds, Pontiac and a couple of competitive Ford cars of similar size have been very popular with Pakistanis.

Around here they'd buy 2 or 3 of them, park the spares in the backyard, then drive the main car while cannibalizing parts from the spares. If they had a collision they'd cut off the matching body panel from a spare for a fix.

WIndows, doors ~ you name it ~ they'd use one for spare parts and they could get another 10 years out of a good used car.

One of the neighbors ~ a Pakistani lawyer with a federal agency ~ showed me the numbers. He'd picked up the analysis at a nearby mosque ~ and Fur Shur, if you didn't have much money you could easily afford two good used Pontiacs ~ using one for parts.

So, is it believable that the driver of this car was maybe a Pak who kept his car up? Sure ~ seen it.
