I’ve gone all M-Pro 7 cleaner and lube. Works better than Hoppe’s and has zero smell.

I can clean and oil in the same room as Mrs Suhks without her complaining about the smell.

Sounds like Frog Lube. I’ve used that also and like you said it doesn’t smell up the house. That one keeps me out of trouble.
