Even when Peter drew his sword & cut off the ear of the high priest’s servant, Jesus only told him, “Put your sword back in its place”.
Jesus didn’t tell Peter to throw down his sword & renounce violence, He simply told Peter that the use of force has consequences.
He then healed the ear of Malchus.
