This is a little too close to home for me as well. We have property and a home about 9 miles north of Terrell and pay school taxes to Kaufman county. Stuff like this isn’t supposed to happen in the country and it’s darn scary.

I’m out between College Mound and Frog. To say that people are on edge is a huge understatement. I would not go anywhere that I wasn’t known and welcome if you get my drift.

“Things like this aren’t supposed to happen in the country”

Ain’t that the truth! I moved from Dallas to a county adjacent to Kaufman county in the mid ‘80s. Dallas was getting crazy. I loved the fact that the biggest crime reported in our weekly newspaper was stolen bicycles and truancy. That, sadly, has been replaced with other crimes.

I don’t have a clue who might be committing these crimes against the DA & ADA. It could be the AB..or a Mexican cartel. Heck, it might be local drug dealers.

Whatever it turns out to be...I agree with you, it’s darn scary.
