We lost AGreatPer last year. He passed away in August. He was 73.
His passing was missed as his wife, who would have notified FR, had preceded him in death.
AGreatPer was a D.C. Chapter stalwart who traveled from Pennsylvania numerous times to stand with us outside the Clinton White House, Cheney's House, troop support rallies, counter-demonstrations of anti-American leftists and our six-year-long Walter Reed vigil.
AGreatPer had a great personality, he was a pleasure to be around at a freep and at our after-freep lunches and dinners.
Trueblackman, BufordP and AGReatPer at Walter Reed, October 8, 2010.
He was pulling one of our legs then.
Just like him!
Thanks for the ping BufordP and for the thread and sharing of the sad information Kristinn. I am thankful for these patriots who were friends of our republic and walked the walk with courage and determination.
You are so sweet to remember AGReatPer, Kristinn. God bless you.
I remember AGreatPer...he was one of the Grand Old FReepers. Sorry to say we are a dying breed. We’ll all meet again one day in Heaven, where our victories may be easier to achieve.
Rest in Peace, dear old faithful FReeper.
I just caught this on the sidebar. I really should have known something was wrong too. I had not heard from him in so long, and he used to contact me on private mail and chat about how things were going. I met him at the rally/dinner for the House Managers. He was a very nice man and made you feel like you had known him forever. May he rest in peace. He will be missed. He should be on the memorial wall.
Oh, I always thought his name meant “A Great Person” because he really was.
May God rest AGreatPer's soul, and comfort his family...

Sad ping...
Prayers for a AGreatPer’s family and loved ones...
R.I.P.
RIP AGP.
Exit148 told me at Raoul’s funeral.
“A Great Person”
Been going through the Rush Limbaugh Show thread PING looking for AGreatPer and for some reason could not find the nic to delete. Maybe was not on the list in the first place.
RIP AGreatPer.
Eternal rest to AGreatPer’s soul.
AGreatPer was mention early in the week on the Rush thread.
Indeed. May God bless and protect all of his loved ones.
Thanks for the heads up. I had seen the tribute for Doctor Raoul but not this announcement for AGreatPer.
RIP. I teased him about his nick until he told me what he really meant. I’d like to think that sort of humor lives after death.
