There are folks here on this forum who live in Asia, study North Korea and frequently enlighten us about it. I forget their nicks at the moment, but you ought to ask them. You also need to familiarize yourself with the practices of Communist totalitarians, and how such rallies operate. In a word, they are not voluntary. In another word, punishment is severe. And finally, as one of those I mentioned told us, only the privileged supporters of the Kims are allowed to live in Pyongyang. As in every country including ours, there is always a privileged and corrupt class of supporters for the bloodiest of tyrants. To say that North Korean population supports their tyrant is absurd.
