Jim Carrey like Steve Martin and Tom Hanks forgot how to be funny many years ago. One of the early ones was Mike Ferrell from MASH. Linda Ronstadt was also an early adopter when she got fat and ugly.

There is a pretty obvious pattern developing here. These celebrities that say all this ridiculous crap seem to be washed up has-been’s well past their career peaks.

What I think they had in common was an uncommon need for adulation and adoration. They don’t get it any more because they are nothing but stupid self absorbed performers and can’t deal with real life. They don’t receive studio provided sycophant staff to give them hand jobs. Then they go off the reservation into Xanax Land.

Perhaps Obama should have a Has-Been Actor Bailout Executive Action to supply these mental cripples with their sycophantic right guaranteed by the constitution.

Good observations. The underlying anger that they harbor from their irrelevance seems to be too much for them to bear. They go from being moderately entertaining to downright embarrassing to watch as they make pitiful fools of themselves, like that a$$-hat Franken.
