Skydivers regularly fall great distances sometimes thousands of feet in free fall.
Was this “doctor” a medical doctor or just some over educated idiot with a PHD?

I do believe that the doctor was referring to accidental falls and attempted or successful suicides, not sky divers who are trained to freefall and to maintain their composures.
