I worked with a guy who was also a flight instructor on the side. I (nervously) declined. I later read about a non-fatal accident involving him and a student pilot at a local airport. About 30 years later, he was arrested after arranging to fly to another airport in Massachusetts (Norwood) to meet an underage girl for sex. His wife and son were shown on TV at his arraignment. I felt sorry for them.
Be careful whom you fly with.
..a coworker of mine shortly after he told me about his ill fated solo flight from PA, asked me if I wanna come up with him...I told him I didn’t even wanna push his rented plane on the ground, he never asked again....*smiles*
