"Once the argument on gay marriage went from homosexuality/sodomy to fairness and equality on the rights of citizens, the rhetorical argument was lost."
Then don't argue the fairness and equality of the rights of citizens to commit sodomy.
"Personally, I dont think the world will end when the gays get the right to marry.
Straight people will continue to marry and raise children, wont they?"
Raise children? Have you not heard of "
Agenda 21" and "
Common Core" ?
Have you not read of
Sodom and Gomorrah?
Have you not known of the destruction of homosexuality talked about starting in
Judges 19, through
Judges 20, and
Judges 21 ?
Those who support homosexuals are
against our Heavenly Father and His Son Jesus Christ.
These anti Christ people only bring destruction on us ALL.
I have
NO sympathy for homosexuals!
Homosexuality is a
"Mark" of disobedience.
Someone once asked"Why are they [homosexuals] all so angry?"
The answer is in the definition of "
REPROBATE".
rep·ro·bate \ˈre-prə-ˌbāt\ a. [L. reprobatus, reprobo, to disallow; re and probo, to prove.]
- 1. Not enduring proof or trial; not of standard purity or fineness; disallowed; rejected.
-
Reprobate silver shall men call them, because the Lord hath rejected them. Jer. 6.
- 2. Abandoned in sin; lost to virtue or grace.
-
They profess that they know God, but in works deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and to every good work reprobate. Titus 1.
- 3. Abandoned to error, or in apostasy. 2Tim. 3.
And the reason
"why" is
given in the Bible.
God has
a cure for homosexuals.
But will we OBEY our Heavenly Father?
I’m not sure why you were fainthearted about putting the quote from Leviticus in your post? If you think homosexuals should be put to death, then that is your opinion and you shouldn’t be coy about stating it.
I’m not religious myself, but I think everyone who professes to be religious has to resolve the problems within religious sayings and philosophy.
For example, if you want to quote the Old Testament sayings of Leviticus—and you are a Christian—then you have to consider the contrary admonishment that Paul preaches in Galatians:
All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. (Galatians 3:10)
If we rely on following the Law (the Torah, the first five books of the Bible) we are under a curse. The passage above, Galatians 3:10, contains a quote from the Law itself, Deuteronomy 27:26. According to Pauls statement below, things have changed.
Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. (Galatians 3:13)
The philosophical and religious contradiction betweeen the Old Testament and the New doesn’t matter to me since I’m not a believer, however, before you start killing homosexuals you might want to give some thought as to whether your belief system puts you ‘under a curse’ according to a leading Apostle.
