I thought I heard that BOR is getting soft on Gay ‘Marriage”, is that true??
Neo paganism is replacing Christianity in Western culture. There are even new rituals and holidays. Earth Day is far more significant to a huge segment of the population compared to Easter. America declines as decadence rises.

One wonders how much those psychotics in the secularist movement like swimming around in all that stuff that oozes from the pustule they call secularism.
Just asking.
IMHO
I recently returned from spending the Christmas Holidays in Australia and was amazed that there was absolutely no connect between Christmas and the birth of Christ. The only Christmas songs I heard were Jingle Bells and Here Comes Santa Claus. My daughter said it is the same with Easter, it is all about the Bunny.
start calling them religious bigots or accuse them of spreading religious bigotry and you’ll see their tune change quickly
Wifey did the Catholic Good Friday thing yesterday, and the church was absolutely packed; but she did a head count, and out of well over a thousand people, there were maybe a dozen below age 40.
BOR, like most Western Christians, is blindly ignorant of the amount of Pagan corruption in that which is held Holy.
There is no spring in that Bunny. They want the Spring Surprise.
Or Crunchy Frog.
Seems to me that the “Easter” bunny trivializes the most important event in the history of mankind.
I have no objection to hunting pretty candy eggs, and I don’t care what they call the rabbit, but I wish we paid more attention to how the Son of God inserted himself in place of the Passover Lamb that distant spring.
In doing so, he once and for all gave those who so choose the shelter of his sacrifice, where we can stand blameless before God.
Serious business, often overlooked. No bunny needed.
I think turnabout is fair play. Christians should start referring to Islamic holidays, for example calling Eid the “Harvest Festival”.
Ramadan is a little harder, but being mostly in July this year, it overlaps with July being “Hot Dog Month”, likewise, “Ice Cream Month”.
I wished I were in a crowd sometimes when some idiot says they don’t want to offend others who do not have the same believe as we do. I would yell out ‘What about offending Christians?’ I bet I would be joined by many
In my church, it’s the same way, overwhelmingly old people. My wife is the youngest person in our Sunday school class of adults and she’s 60. I suspect that it’s the same in the majority of churches.
I look around in the sanctuary during church and see elderly people with a smattering of children and believe that it’s mostly old people bringing their grand children to church because there just aren’t that many adults there of child bearing age.
Why not call it a spring bunny? It has absolutely nothing to do with Jesus Christ. It’s a borrowed tradition from pagan beliefs and it’s returning to that.
Yes, it's true. He's another fool who is willing to cave to the sodomite Gestapo so he won't be thought of as an extremist. He no longer has the right to preach about bunnies or anything else, as far as I'm concerned.

Thanks for the links. When I mentioned this mrs p6 asked “what school” and “who.”
This has been going on for decades at least. Festivus for the rest of us was good comedy to many but really it was just part...possibly unintentional...of a movement to undermine our traditions, language and morals.
Mrs p6 saw little harm with redefining or renaming things like the Christmas tree, family, marriage and such. She doesn’t seem to recognize the hsrm as long as she can keep the definitions and names she knows.
I just asked her where will she personally draw the line.
All it takes is for good men to do nothing.
