What better time than Sunday, while we’re all out chasing Easter Eggs?
I hope our military leaders in the ROK take this issue more seriously than most of us on this thread.
Remember the 1976 axe murders of two of our officers in the DMZ? They have the axe on display in their “peace museum”.
What about the assassination attempt on the ROK president in 1983 (Rangoon bombing) that killed 21 people, including three ROK government ministers and the deputy prime minister?
And the bomb planted by the Norks on a KAL flight that killed 115 people in 1987?
There are many more such incidents — they usually time their attacks for just after the conclusion of our annual military exercises with the ROKs, or just after an election. That means just about now.
Look for a major incident in the next few weeks. I’m betting it’ll be another incident in the Yellow Sea.
