SEOUL, March 29 (Yonhap) -- North Korea announced Saturday that it has entered a state of war against South Korea.
In a special statement, the North said it will deal with every inter-Korean issue in a wartime manner.
This all seems a bit much, if it really is just bluster. Fatty’s old man was a lot better at escalating without approaching the brink, so he couldn’t be looked on as not being serious. If Fatty backs down, he’ll look very, very weak.
Not completely true. He did live in Switzerland for a while. So he has been exposed to the outside world albeit the Swiss view of the outside world. I think he does know what is going on but likes being a big fish in a little pond full of slaves. Apparently he has to do all this crap to survive as King? bizarre. seems he could just chill and enjoy his harem or whatever
Drudge Sirens WAR
The pity is, he is probably right.
NK and Iran are acting in concert. Surrogates of Putin, China and noBama.
Can I get an Amen on removing all prohibited rules of engagement? The other side has no such limitations.
Hey! I thought I was the only one that read that!
Norks, Chi-Com’s, Putin, and Ayatoldya, have just openly formed a new axis of evil.
We have the weakest “President” in the history of our nation. Obama makes Jimmy Carter look good.
Bullies exploit weakness. We appear weak because of our President, and we ARE weak as long as he is our “leader”.
In addition to our weakness, China may perceive some advantage to be gained from a war between North and South Korea. China has economic problems that could boil over into domestic unrest, and nothing helps unify a nation like a perceived outside threat.
What’s more, China and Japan have a major spat going right now, and a “nice little surrogate war” between North and South Korea might help them make their point to the Japanese as well.
Finally, China would like nothing better than to cripple South Korea economically. (One way to reduce competition is to blow ‘em up.)
Long winded way to say: Be ready.
Maybe he finally figured out the ‘sexiest man’ bit was a joke on him. Good lesson here - Great Leader cannot stand people making of him.
Didn't know a movie was made from the book, but I read the book "The Mouse That Roared". Equally funny is "The Mouse On The Moon" and "The Mouse On Wall Street". The hilarious antics of the Duchy of Grand Fenwick, always chuckle when I think about those stories.
Maybe General MacArthur was right all along.
One of the first orders of business should be the US Navy (underwater branch), to make short shrift of anything NKor that floats or submerges. Remember the Cheonan.
Any aggressive mass military movement should be greeted by a B-2 dropped air burst MOAB. Which would also work great on major Air Defense Artillery zones. Such as these:
As far as the mountain emplaced artillery that threatens Seoul, I suggest a B-52 bomber dropping Small Diameter Bombs. Each B-52 can drop 32 of them from 60 miles away, 250 pound bombs that can penetrate 3 feet of steel reinforced concrete.
Thus, a chalk of three B-52s, coming from different angles, would likely be able to take out some estimated 80 or more NKor artillery emplacements almost at once.
I don’t think it’s ever a good idea to underestimate your enemy. This could get very serious, very fast,
I think we all had the same English teacher in High School.
Good time to nuke Pyongyang....
The Mouse That Roared. Had to read the book in school
