SEOUL, March 29 (Yonhap) -- North Korea announced Saturday that it has entered a state of war against South Korea.
In a special statement, the North said it will deal with every inter-Korean issue in a wartime manner.
Very good point indeed.
On the other hand, I’m starting to get this really weird feeling... I’m reminded about the idea of a magician using one hand to distract and the other to pull off the trick.
In other words, Something elsewhere is about to get pulled off. Where? Who knows, in today’s world it could be just about anywhere, China, Africa, Middle East, heck even the EU and the White House are suspect.
As someone once said, just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean that the bullets flying past your head weren’t meant for you.
Maybe I'm naive, but how does this change a thing. Hasn't this been basically the status quo?
“Maybe General MacArthur was right all along.”
Only go to war with a Declaration of War. When we destroy the enemy, there is only an unconditional surrender by them.
Then you hang those leaders who started the war.
That worked well with Germany and Japan after WWII.
My grand dad was furious about the removal of MacArthur and the reverting back to the original boundaries. He lost a nephew in that worthless war and came close to losing his oldest grandson.
He was a firm advocate of the declaration of war, then a merciless and total destruction of the enemy’s forces and most of the country, then quick and open trials and hangings of the criminals who started the war, finally a brutal military occupational force for about 50 years, to make sure the enemy’s survivors never want war again.
