O rly . . . ? How come it’s always defeated when put to public vote in that case, and those votes are subsequently overturned by prejudiced activist judges?

Not any more. Same sex marriage was on the ballot in four states in 2012, and won in all four.

I've seen a half-dozen variations on this comment in the last couple days, and I'm really starting to be perplexed. Am I the only one who watched election returns from last November?

This shouldn't exactly come as a newsflash to us. It's been moving this direction for years.
