O rly . . . ? How come its always defeated when put to public vote in that case, and those votes are subsequently overturned by prejudiced activist judges?

I've seen a half-dozen variations on this comment in the last couple days, and I'm really starting to be perplexed. Am I the only one who watched election returns from last November?
This shouldn't exactly come as a newsflash to us. It's been moving this direction for years.
